[ 2008/04/01 ] - Changes in progress...
We have reached an important milestone, at least regarding the site. The new domain (http://wlmp-project.net/) helps providing multilingual support, and - as we promised earlier - we are developing a new support system built around the packages. According to the plans, these changes are the following:
- One of the most important things that should be mentioned, is that now you can register on the site. This help for us and for the visitors of the site, because it will be easier for the developers to be in touch with the users (Comments, private messages, etc.)
- In connection with the developments, a new online changelog and bugreport system is on its way, which makes it possible to track the phases of development. You can give a detailed description on each bug you find, and thus we can give you the answers more easily.
- A more detailed documentation is in progress, and we are creating a shorter FAQ, which was unfortunately a heavily missed feature.
- The News sections on the site will be transformed into an "internal blog", where the registered users will be able to respond, ask questions, etc. So it will provide the functions of a real blog.
We can go on with the list, because there are still ideas, but we just wanted to give you an rough overview on what is happening in the background. We hope that the ongoing changes will meet the expectations of both sides. |
