[ 2008/08/29 ] - A little update...
Many of you might ask what is happening (or what is not happening) around the project. A long time has passed, since we published some news or released a fresh, stable package. Simply, we disappeared in the ether for a while...
We can reassure you, that the project is still alive, and it will be so. Although there was no WLMP 1.1 update, due to a stability problem in the Win32 version of LightTPD/1.4.19-1. The problem could have been solved using many approaches, but we were interrupted by the lack of time.
WLMP 1.2 - that was promised long ago - will not be out in the near future, because of many reasons. If there is hope that the stable LightTPD 1.5.0 will be released in the near future, then it will included in the package, so the transition might be a bit rough. Besides, MySQL and PHP will be updated to version 5.1 and 6.0 respectively, instead of the currently included versions. |
